Highly skilled installation teams

Installing and commissioning a storage or handling system is a complex process requiring careful planning and expertise. It takes experienced professionals to assemble the racking and install the shuttles, roboter and control systems and to ensure that the system reaches its full performance potential with all functions and meets all safety standards.

Our specially trained installation teams have the skills to set up your system quickly and draw on many years of experience. Every installation undergoes a quality check and suppliers and installation partners are also assessed on a regular basis.

Movu's installation experts are all highly experienced and are qualified as follows:

Quick installation and commissioning

Movu solutions do not require heavy machinery or extensive construction measures. Thanks to standardisation, modularity and complete integration capability, they can be installed much faster than traditional automation systems. This means significantly less disruption to your ongoing warehouse operations and that you are able to productively use your new system sooner.

Commissioning an ASRS begins with an inspection of the racking system. This inspection checks whether the racking is correctly assembled and securely fastened. The shuttles and control systems are then set up. This includes programming the software to enable the desired functions and processes. The programming is followed by thorough testing to ensure that everything is working properly.

When commissioning the Movu ifollow autonomous mobile robots, the necessary infrastructure (charging stations, transmitters) is also checked prior to the programming.

Sensors and safety devices are also checked. Simulations are carried out to test different scenarios. In addition, all tests are thoroughly documented to identify and fix any potential problems.

Tailored training

We provide technical training for your staff to enable them to operate Movu systems without any problems. We also tailor our training to your specific needs:

  • If you want to perform maintenance tasks and minor repairs yourself, you can book the corresponding training for your staff. This includes both theory and practical exercises at our Competence Centre.

  • We also offer on-site training if you prefer.

  • You can also take advantage of our online training courses. E-learning is an excellent way of keeping your operators trained and informed, especially if you have a high staff turnover.

Whichever option you choose, our qualified trainers will quickly teach your staff everything they need to know about our automated storage systems or autonomous mobile robots.
